Can I search for phrases or multiple words?

You can search text in PDF. To find a set of words, just try to search similar words using a regular expression.

What if my PDF is an image or scanned document? Can I still search for words?

Fortunately, we have OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology to convert the images of text into searchable text. In order to search words in PDF document which is scanned, check "My PDF documents are scanned" and do not forget to specify the language of the text in your document. Also, you can transform your PDF file to searchable using our tool and then use any embedded application in your OS for searching words.

Why am I not getting any search results, even though I know the word is in the PDF?

There could be a few reasons: The word might be misspelled. The word could be in an image, and we don't have Optical Character Recognition technology. The word might be part of the document's content but not visible in the current view.
